My background is in materials engineering and technical systems. I completed my Ph.D. in Materials Engineering at The Australian National University (ANU) in 2024, focusing on flame-synthesized nanomaterials and miniaturized opto-electronic sensing devices. My research supported collaborative projects including the NATO Science for Peace and Security (AMOXES) project and the ANU Our Health in Our Hands initiative.
Before my doctoral studies, I worked as a Product Development Engineer at SukgyungAT in South Korea. In that role, I developed and optimized chemical synthesis methods, helping scale laboratory recipes to pilot manufacturing for functional inorganic materials.
My background includes engineering, industrial product development, doctoral research at ANU and postdoctoral research at UNSW Sydney in sustainable materials and resource recovery.
Across both research and practical applications, I focus on methodical problem solving: understanding physical materials and systems, diagnosing faults, and building reliable solutions.
