Experience
2020 - Present
Ph.D. Researcher
Australian National University, Australia
Working in a large multicultural research group (Nanotechnology Research Laboratory) under the supervision of Prof. Antonio Tricoli as my primary supervisor and chair of the supervisory panel). Actively involved in various collaborative research projects with both domestic and international research groups.
2020 - Present
Teacher at HQS
Gungahlin & Belconnen, Australia
This is an initiative for the purpose of giving back to society. I teach Islamic studies and equip the next generation of muslims living in Canberra with Islamic education which is not easy to get in Australia. It is free for everyone and I have weekly three classes at two different locations in Canberra.
2016 - 2018
Product Development Engineer
SukgyungAT. Co., Ltd. Republic of Korea
My role in the product development team at SukgyungAT was to identify new prospects and evaluate their position in industry. I worked mainly on innovative functional nanomaterials for various advanced applications using sol-gel and hydrothermal processes.
Education
2020 - Present
Ph.D. in Materials Engineering
Australian National University, Australia
In my Ph.D. research, I am working on the development of miniaturized wearable medical devices for non-invasive detection of diseases. I synthesize various types of inorganic nanomaterials and play with their composition and morphology to increase their sensitivity to the required level.
2014 - 2016
M.E. in Materials Engineering
Inha University, Republic of Korea
I completed my Masters in Engineering at Nano Thin Film Laboratory under the supervision of Prof. Sang Sub Kim at Inha University. My research was focused on the development of semiconducting oxide and graphene based composite nanomaterials for gas sensing applications.
2010 - 2014
B.S. in Materials Engineering
GIKI, Pakistan
I was lucky enough to get my Engineering education from one of the prestigious universities of Pakistan, Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI) with the specialization in Materials Engineering.
